Charmaine lives and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico and received a BFA from the University of NM in 1990. She have exhibited extensively in NM and throughout the region having solo, two person, and numourous group and invitational and group shows in Museums, Galleries, and Alternative Spaces. She has received several Honors, Awards, and Grants. Among them includes:

2002 Christopher Reeves Paralysis Foundation Project Grant Project: Discards, a postcard campaign.
